Thumbs up World's greatest driveway [video]

Some like coming home for creature comforts and respite from the workday, but racer Rod Millen uses the final approach to his home to keep his racing skills sharp. Welcome to the world’s greatest driveway, a mile-long adventure that includes hairpin turns, switchbacks and other racetrack features that would guarantee one’s mother-in-law would never return for a second visit.

Best of all, for his sixtieth birthday, the legendary racer invited his friends to join the party for what he termed the “Leadfoot Festival” (because real friends share, after all).

Wow! I'd kill for a driveway like that. All i have is a patch of concrete!

Simply amazing! With a driveway like this, I would always be late because I would be racing it back and forth every time I leave the house

I have to disagree with the Thread title...

The World's Greatest Driveway has to be Lord March's Goodwood Hill

Here's Rod Millen in the same Celica enjoying himself

and a more sedate run, where I was lucky enough to be the passenger, in the first rear-engined Ferrari, the 1961 SP Dino

For me, the Greatest Drive on the World's Greatest Driveway
