    Default Lifts?

    Hi guys, anyone have a good recommendation on a lift? I have a 64 Impala SS resto-mod that I need room for, so I figured I'd just keep it on a lift.. I'd like someone to install in the Seattle area.

    I just posted this morning on the Back Yard Buddy replacing my cheap Chinese steel made 4 post lift (4 post lift, take 2). It is super bomber compared to the stuff I had before. And they even offered to help line up an installer. While the cheap one I could install with a friend, the BYB needs a forklift as it is a lot more bomber.

    Forgot to ask you last night. What's your clear height in your garage? I'm thinking a Bendpak HD-9 and add the caster kit.

    I also have a Car Lifts for home garages - Backyard Buddy 4 Post Free Standing Automotive Lifts. It's great, I'd recommend one.

    Were you planning on using the lift just for storage or also to do some work on your vehicles? If you just wanted something for storage I would suggest a PL-6000. It is a single post lift and if it was me installing a lift in my garage I would personally like to have the extra room on the left side of the lift.

    I have a 1post side lift storage lift. I love it, as when it's up or down, there's no posts in the way!!!




    I have 10' 5" ceilings, and have stacked numerous different car combos!!
