Default For those who have 4 post lift in their garage

I need advice to see whether I can get a 4 post lift in my garage. I just moved in and I am trying to design my garage.

For those who have 4 post lift in their garage, how do they work around garage door openers and the tracks.

I have approx 15 foot ceilings and the garage is approximately 30x25.

If I get a 4 post lift, will it work with the tracks of the garage door in the way.

    Thanks

The door looks plenty wide enough for the lift to fit inbetween the tracks. You may have to get a trackless opener.

As said above just change the door tracks and you are plenty good to go. Majority of lift owners only have a 10' garage height
East bound and down, loaded up and truckin',
we're gonna do what they say can't be done.

Local garage door company can raise your door to the ceiling and mount a motor on the side. Instant space!

i designed my garage for a future lift installation ...i used a jackshaft door opener (Chamberlain Liftmaster 3800) it mounts to the wall and spins the shaft instead of pulling the door..works awesome and its super quiet (also comes with a locking deadbolt. I got them to add a peice to the rails to raise the door to the ceiling.. this is no rail is hanging down in the way of the lift.

you can kep what you have.... Just add the track adapter to change the angle. Acailable at home depot but will take a life time order//// I order mine from a local company. Ask them to install.... worth the money

I like this angle garage door tracks. I think this is exactly what I need.

I hate my current garage door anyway, they are too thin and not insulated so when I upgrade I will change the angle of the doors too!

I know people at Amarr, so if I can help with any questions, feel free to ask. Also, let me know when you're ready to explore the lift or any other garage solutions more. Ulti-MATE Pro cabinets have promotional pricing till the end of February. Contact me anytime with questions.

Also, if a Bendpak HD-9 series fits your need, you can get the caster kit so you can move the lift. Just a thought.

    1. Tracks mounted almost on the ceiling
    2. Jackshaft opener.
