Garage Lighting?
I'm looking for some great garage lighting! Something very low profile but gives off a lot of light. I have 2 48" florescent in there now but I'm looking for something better and little more tasteful.....

Flourescent is the best for general purpose lighting - T12. Metal halide and incandescent are other popular options and make for good lighting for detailing.

my 20'x23' garage is lit by 8 2-bulb t8 fixtures with 4300k 4' bulbs and it's very easy to do work in there. a couple more fixtures would be perfect, but it's already brighter inside than it is outside. whatever you end up going with, you'll need more fixtures to generate more light, disperse it evenly and prevent shadows.
