not sure if he was talking to you, but the other person posting in this thread. IMO Valentine 1 is where its at.

I think you are right.

I have a V-1 and agree with you that they are one of the best detectors out there. I just though for the price some people might be interested in this.

oh i agree, i am sure it would work fine for like the typical daily commuter or something. I had V1 and tested it out with my state cop friend, and it worked flawlessly.
