Thread: Future garage build/ remodel

I'll want to make some changes to this house which it desperately needs and give it a more updated feel.

Here is the back entrance to the home with room for 3 cars in the car port. If I had high priced cars, I wouldn't want them out in the open. I was thinking about putting up a wall and turning that car port into an expanded kitchen and maybe even a 7th bed room which would add value.

here is a shot of the pool house and the dirt path that goes behind the poolhouse where a playground and coy pond are located. I was thinking of bulldozing the freaking playground because it hasn't been maintained in over 15yrs and hardly anyone ever used it. I think it would make for yet another smaller garage/ man cave? I don't have any shots of that though.

here are some better shots of the pool house/ guest house. It has a bathroom, bedroom and small kitchen. If it was completely gutted, it could hold 4 cars comfortably. What I would like to do is turn the bottom floor into a modernized garage and add a second floor for the sleeping quarters and make it have a loft-type-feel.

The pool and main house are also in dire need of updating to something fresh. I'd expect the remodel to be at least 200k but I'm just guessing.

Is this a foreclosure or a distressed sale that you are looking to buy and flip?

A family estate that might be willed to me in 5yrs but can't hurt to plan ahead.
