    Default FERRARI vs. LAMBORGHINI

2 totally different cars, different history, both exotics....

i am/have been fully committed to ferrari but as of late, seriously guys...

you can't deny who has the upper hand these days...

California vs. Reventon vs. 560 vs. new 4door !!!!

    the approaches are very different.

Ferrari : applying race technology, making cars lighter, very very hard to get!

Lambo: technological luxuries, (reverse camera, lowering system, colabs w/ Versace etc etc)

ultimately i hope to be like the people i admire... and own both !

This is where my wife and I differ. She loves everything about Ferrari's. She is very performance oriented and wants something that will handle well. The sharp lines and the luxury of Lamborghini is what I like. Although at this point I would be very happy with either manufacturer.

I like them both and wish to own both. As for what would I buy first? Probably a Lambo because a used one is much cheaper then a competitor from Ferrari.

You stated it out very good Knick. Both have different qualities and advantages but ultimately they both need to be acquired and appreciated.

When I went on the Paupers run last week I drove out in a Murc. The next day I did the Valley of Fire ride in a Stradale. I then drove home in another Murc. and....I truly feel the "Lamborghini Experience" has everything. Speed, Comfort, Awesome Colors (lets face it Lamborghinis are available in every color and they look sexy in everyone of those colors) , great lines, and an adrenaline rush that I just can't get in any other exotic. I am a Lambo girl and always will be

100% agree but some of my boys 6'2" 6'4" they hate Lambos b/c they are not suited for them... ya dig? did you see hoff in that gallardo spyder? his head was sticking way out !

Lambo's are like slim Gucci suits!!!!
CS, Skuds, 612's and 599's are roomy.

i dunno i have owned everything, i love everything.

    Wish I had your problems!

Seriously, after watching National Geographics show on the Ferrari factory, I'd go buy a Ferrari first. But you already have! A Lamborghini I think you should test drive yourself (unless peeps at SR have already let you.) I know Ramin had issues with the Murci - he had higher expectations.

Me, I think back on the "first" time I laid eyes on a Laborghini - it was the Coutach. And the first time I had seen a Ferrari was a 308GTB in San Francisco. Between the two, I would buy the Ferrari. I'm really more of the soft volumtous lines like a then-young Bernadette Peters. I think to this day, I'm still not into the sharp line/angles thing. They look out of this world and in many ways, just scream technical and advanced, but it doesn't stir my soul. It's like my new ride (hey, you haven't seen it yet), the Audi A5.

I didn't even flinch at the cost that much. I bought the car on passion instead of brains. (so much for the Chinese side of me.) But I have no regrets. Your call but I know you like art but you're also a contemporary person too. I'd support either that you choose!

i guess my point is that too often these two are compared

as BMW vs. Mercedes vs Audi etc etc etc

i think both are awesome for different reasons!
    That's All
