my clever thought of the day:

instead of dropping extra dollars over MSRP on the 458. Drop it on this kit, and wait out the 458 whoring game.

A bunch of gas powered italian, german, japanese, and american things with four wheels. On order is a bunch of the same, and previously I had a bunch of the same. Oh and I fly, tool around on boats, and have been known to ride motorcycles.

theres several cars like these tucked away in places or built and then parked. one of these kits on your car or on a regular one that you bought, i knooooooooooooooooow, would be something else. man if you were a stock and i knew you were buying this kit for your car i'd buy your stock lol.

its like you almost have to man.

Why? The Gallardo will be faster at the "drag strip" = AWD + Extra displacement.

The F430 will be quicker at the track = better handling, brakes, lighter.

    Just like their NA counterparts.

theres always a few tricks you can do to get the f430 to hookup, traction control boost by speed with a good set of boost solenoids and someone who really knows how to dial in a traction control system like that. i.e.-fwd 6.9xx second drag car setup guys.

the tire choice can be adjusted, small steel brakes rotors in the back with the small caliper to fit a smaller diameter wheel, NOT TOO SMALL AS TO MIMIC A DRAG WHEEL/TIRE. but enough to allow for a flexible enough sidewall, with some good n soft r compound tire. like your rear wheel specs with just maybe 1" smaller diameter wheel, but calculate tire sidewal to equal same total outer tire diameter. who knows maybe its enough and you could leave the larger diameter, if they are even larger, rear brake setup.

adjustable shocks in the back that you could soften up at the 1/4 mile and then tighten back up when you leave the track.

just because the car is 2wd weather it be fwd or rwd it doesnt automatically 'necessarily' mean itll be slower than equal setup awd vehicle. generally at a 1/4 mile on a street car level, rwd is best, awd 2nd best, and fwd being the hardest to get to hookup.

a friend of mine Jimmy Kakeletris is a really hardcore 911 drag racer for most of his life. he use to own a 90's one, the one that came with single exit exhaust, ehh not well versed on the P cars. and he had a twin turbo setup pretty much like this one street car with around 900 hp give or take 100 he used to carry slics right in the trunk of the car drive to the track slap the slicks on run consistent 9's, switch em back to normal and drive back. from ct to nj and back to ct. this was in the 90's.

in this day with such advances in automotive engine management development and with the help of open source initiatives i believe that an f430, 360, 355, 348, and of course even a 458 can all be built to do the same with even more ease. i mean these guys underground racing are already 90% there, possibly their only set back might be the owners fear of hurting the car very understandable.
