latest Forza mag had an article all about Ferrari values and trends. Said the 430's were set to dip big soon, but no mention of the reason being 458's, but the flooding of the market with them from off-lease and repo's.

I have had a couple conversations about this with some people that 'should' know as you peaked my interest, and the general consensus I got was avoid unless you really want it. 458 is supposed to be a pretty cool car, and a lot of people jump to the latest greatest in the v8 segment. Like anything else when demand goes down so does prices, and lets face it, this isn't the best car market ever.
I hate to disagree with Knick since is he knows 1000x more people than I do and owns a skud, but even the CS dipped hard when the 430 came out before eventually coming back up a bit. Of course silicon valley is a little different market than a lot of other places.

When exactly is the first 458 Italia supposed to hit US dealerships?
I've been researching the scud prices for a few months now. I was initially waiting for the nice weather, but it seems that I should continue to wait. However, I do want it for this "season".
