Ferrari Paint jobs question..
Is anyone familiar with the way that Ferrari's are painted at the factory?
Do they paint the body before assembly or is the paint decided 3/4 of the way through production, after the engine is installed..
The reason I asked was that I noticed the insides of the doors, trunk lids, etc were all black on a yellow car..
Whereas most cars bodies are painted before engine installation and all that so the body pieces all have the same color inside and out..
Just thought it was curious....or maybe the car was painted after factory?

It wasnt necessarily the jambs all around, but the hinge area was painted black on both sides; the door and the body.. on 'most' cars, thats usually an indicator of the car having undergone a complete color change and to avoid the expense of door removal, they just sprayed a neutral color on the jambs..
I never saw them open the doors and paint the sills and jamsb in that video so maybe they dont..
Anyone with a 01-02 360 sypder care to chime in? Are your jambs/sills color matched to the body?

Typical Ferrari...they dont paint everything in one color that's not readily seen for some reason.

Here's an example:

Mine is the same...some parts are black....

Looks like some assembly required, too.
