I hate when people freak out over the price of something like this. Go to an engineering company and get a quote on Forged Titanium with a deep Allen (Hex) head pocket forged into them, then have the threads rolled not cut, and then tell the company that they assume the liabillity of holding the wheels on a 200mph car. They will charge you 1K per bolt. 4K new is cheap. 1K used is a smoking deal.

geez i didnt know that it was that labor intensive....

but still 4k for a set of lug nuts.....still.....

Wow. I would have never guessed. Sounds about right though.
