If you are wanting a simple wheel that is easy to clean and also have a beautiful look, I would go with a 5 spoke design. Do you have a specific company in mind that you would buy? I would highly suggest HRE, ADV.1, Vorsteiner, or D2 Forged.
With that being said, if you were to go with HRE, I would suggest the P47SC's. The new SC series is stronger and lighter than most stock wheels.
If ADV.1, I would suggest the ADV05 Track Spec or SL series. I'm in love with the ADV5.1SL. Link here: ADV.1 - ADV5.1SL
If Vorsteiner, I would suggest the VS-320's. I think they would just look amazing on a 458.
If D2 Forged, I would suggest the CV2's.
I can go on for days...Corey Y.

I'm still not there .. while all of these are nice, I still think the painted forge alloy upgrade wheels look better .. I might just stay factory this time around.

I was in the same boat with my newly acquired Scud. I really liked the oem wheel, but offsets were horrible. Thought about spacers, but that's not highly recommended either.
So I was lucky enough to snag up the last set of BBS FI's in the country just last week. They look incredible!!
Since they don't make them (yet) for the 458, this is a copy of them by PUR wheels, and this car and wheel looks SICK!!
Game over!EARNED, AND NOT GIVEN....
