    Default blazer vs suit jacket???

hey guys, I did a quick google search for a blazer vs a suit jacket but wanted to get opinions from you guys too...

I was going to buy a blue blazer sometime this week but then I realized I don't own a blue suit. would it be appropriate to use a blue suit jacket with khakis or jeans? seems ok to me?

I tried this years ago with a gray suit I had. Just doesn't look right. The suit jacket is too dressy for jeans. A blazer is much more relaxed look that pairs better with jeans...IMHO.

Blazer is the way to go. You will use it over and over again for years to come!

Been on the hunt for a blazer like this (white) for agessss. Thinking I need a custom made one as I'm fairly tall.

Dont do it! Suit jacket should stay with a suit. Get a blazer, looks great and you can wear it with a lot.

I would consider getting a wider lapel, as the skinny lapel look from the 60's is back in now, but probably won't be for long. SOmething more traditional may get more usage over the years!

Any ideas or where is good to look for one? Quite hard being tall and slim to find one that looks good
