Carrera Safari Sunglasses
Bought a pair today at Nordstrom, I'm fairly happy with the purchase. Although now upon further inspection it says Made In China on one of the legs. Is this bogus? I was under the impressions all Carrera products where Made in Italy.

Most sunglasses are either made in China, Japan or Italy. There is an Italian company called Luxotica that makes and distributes almost every brand name sunglasses. The industry is not as unique as we think it is.
I think as long as it looks good and is comfortable on you, it was a good buy.

I have a few pairs laying around so I just checked and Carreras are Made in China. Rule of thumb, under $150 are all going to be Made in China.

Carrera's are great, they look good and fit nicely. Im a big fan of the original ones from the 80's.
