As a fellow stylist... I partially agree. when it comes to suiting, dress shirts the more you spend the better it fits... it starts to cost that much because you are paying for fit foremost and then the name. Cheaper clothing for the most part goes to fit masses while the more expensive stuff is going to fit their demographics in the respective sizing.

Anyway, the OP is absolutely correct, it isn't about what name brand you're wearing, it is all about the fitment. Usually the name brand already has a certain fit and cut pre-made for you so that it is easier to pick off the shelf vs. scavenging through a thrift store.

And please, don't shop at express guys...
