Boots w/ some style?
Living in NY I sure could use a good pair of boots this time of year. Like to find something with a little style to them but still be able to wear them out in crappy weather. What kind of boots do you guys like? I've seen some nice ones I like by John Varvastos but I don't think I'd feel right dropping $600 or so on a pair of boots to wear in crappy weather.

Just picked up a pair of boots from Sorel.
Super warm and comfortable in the weather.

For a reasonably priced pair of boots that are well made and stylish you cannot beat Cole Haan. I buy all my basic shoes from them and have never been disappointed nor felt that I was in any way paying for hype. Always get good service and a biscuit for my dog from their stores so I prefer to buy in person than online.

I tried to pick up a pair of these Buterro's last winter, but stupid Barney's wouldn't ship to Canada.

Actually just ended up picking up a pair of Diesel boots. They were pretty nice once I tried them on, really nice leather.

And half the price of the John Varvastos boots I'd been looking at, so I won't feel bad trekking along if we get some crappy weather.
