    Default Pea Coat and Suit?

    Hey everyone,
    This evening I will be attending a cocktail party and I will be taking a train and then walking from the station to the event. Seeing as it's November, and I'm around Boston, it's going to be quite cold. Is it acceptable for me to wear a pea coat over my suit just for the time being until I get there? Or will it look so bad that I should just leave it at my dorm?
