    Default Banana Republic S*x

Bought a belt at Banana Republic, hard to try on in store cuz of those darn plastic loops. Wore for half an hour and the leather stretched like crazy and it was just too darn big. Returned today with receipt and they said they would not take it back since it had been worn. I would rate it essentially untouched. Called their customer svc home office and they said no go too. I said "you are loosing 3K a year in business...." and told them to give the belt to charity. Went to Cole Haan next door and got a much nicer belt for ten bucks more.

What's the new credo: the customer's always wrong?

ya, their customer service sucks. their product also sucks. i buy only their top of the line wool pants at 1/2 off. their shoes are particularly worthless.

i assure you i don't drop 3K in that sheithole, but i figured it might make their ears ring, but i guess not. i am not a huge fan of nordstrom's, they are based here in Seattle, but they bent over backwards to fix a problem with a zipper on a down parka i purchased there.

Can't stand BR, If I'm in a bind for a new outfit and short on time express is usually my goto store.
East bound and down, loaded up and truckin',
we're gonna do what they say can't be done.

+1 to Nordstrom and also Neiman Marcus, both of them will do almost anything for their customers. I took a pair of Rock's back to NM that developed a hole b/c i was doing something i shouldn't have been doing and they swapped them out for a current pair. Nords...this still amazes me to this day, i wanted some new shoes for an event that night and they didn't have my size at any of the stores in the area. One of the managers went to competitor's store and bought them for me, and i ended up getting them for free.
    Wait, what?
