Sorry for the poor quality. I recorded it in HD, but it only uploaded in SD for some reason. Will work on it to see if I can fix that

Im just curious, it seems the Gulfstream sells more aircraft than Bombardier with the Global Express. Why is that? I dont know anything about the two besides the specs and pics everyone sees. Are the Gulfstreams cheaper to run with only a small difference in ranges? From the limited exposure I see I think the GE is the better aircraft for long range flights? Are the Gulfstreams the better all around jet and thats why more people buy those? For those few international flights its ok to make a stop to make sure on the range to maintain regional capabilities?

Forgive my ignorance, I just dont know.

You can see the flight number, airline, registration, altitude, speed, course, and route. You can also watch the plane in google earth (not the real plane just a rendering.)

Additionally you can find different airports and view all the routes.

This whole thing started last year when I was out detailing one day and heard the distinctive roar of radial engines over head. I looked up and to my amazement I saw a WWII B24 Liberator!!!!!!!!! My understanding was that there were none in the world that were airworthy.

After a little research I found out that over 18,000 of these aircraft were made during WWII and that the the Collings Foundation flies the worlds last airworthy B24J Liberator.

Recently while on their Facebook page I found out that the Collings Foundation "Wings of Freedom" tour was making it's way to Southern California. Soon after that they posted this photo of their two WWII vintage bombers while in Arizona. You can clearly see that the B-24 is severely oxidized.

I posted on their page that when it gets here we need to wash and wax it.

About a week later I was onsite at Brackett airport in La Verne, Ca. to welcome the bombers. I made contact with the crew chief Whitney and told him that I could save the finish on the B-24. He gave me the go-ahead.

I made a few calls and secured the backing of a great long time client of mine Gary Johnson of ACE Clearwater Enterprises in Torrance, Ca and Meguiars was going to donate the materials.
One of the stops during the tour was going to be at the Lyon Museum. We polished two WWII Bombers for them in 2009 so I knew working on the B-24 there should not be a problem. A quick call to my buddy Mark Foster and th elocation was set.

A few calls later I had secured a team of friends/detailers to perform the work.
Kevin Brown aka, "BUFF DADDY" stepped up and provided lunch for the entire crew.

The Witchcraft paint restoration project was born!!

Eike Batista, the Brazilian billionaire whose wealth shrank more than $27 billion since early last year, put one of his private jets on sale as the tycoon cuts costs and divests assets.

The Embraer Legacy 600, registration number PR-AVX, is listed for sale on aviation publication Controller. The plane’s interior features antique nickel plating and taupe carpets, wicker-colored leather seats and cabinetry finished in satin, according to the listing, which didn’t give an asking price.

Batista is selling stakes in his companies and scaling back projects after missed operational and financial targets triggered a selloff that cost him the mantle of Brazil’s richest person. Oil unit OGX Petroleo & Gas Participacoes SA may need to raise $1 billion from Batista through a put option to cover spending next year, Standard & Poor’s said last month while cutting the company’s credit rating to B- from B.

EBX Group Co., the holding company for most of Batista’s assets, and Avjet Trading Inc., the company given as contact on the posting, both declined to comment.

The plane, manufactured in 2008, totaled 1,419 hours of flying, according to Controller’s website. The aircraft seats 13 passengers and includes a conference and dining area, a three-place divan and a fully equipped galley, it said.

Embraer SA (EMBR3), Brazil’s biggest aircraft maker, delivered over 200 Legacy 600 and 650 planes, which can fly non-stop from Hamburg to Dubai. The plane has a listing price of $26 million, according to Embraer. Batista wants to sell the jet quickly and has an asking price of $14 million, Veja magazine reported May 18, without saying where it got the information.

Brazil’s richest person when his wealth peaked at $34.5 billion in March last year, Batista is now worth $6.8 billion on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, making him the world’s 191st richest individual.
