Default My Martini Mini Cooper S

    Hi all,

Just took delivery of my Mini Cooper S from the dealership 2 days ago and inspired by the oh-so-famous Martini Mini belonging to a member from a UK Mini forum, I've decided to do the same look for my Mini.

My next mod will be the Akrapovic turbo-back exhaust system and a tune.

Right when I picked it up from the sticker shop...

I rigged a custom license plate holder using the tow hook so I don't have to drill a hole on the front bumper

    View from the back...

    With its stable mate...

I quite like Minis (In fact I want to get a yellow Mini as a first car^^) and yours is very nice!

I would just add fog lights like this picture:

    Congrats!

    Thanks guys!

Today I installed the Akrapovic turbo back exhaust system, KW coilovers and 17" BBS forged wheels.

First impression: car is noticeably louder, but not obnoxious. Power pick-up in the midrange is much better, but seems to be a bit droopy (is that even a word?) in the lower range. The Akrapovic turbo back pipes are also made of titanium and much much lighter than stock. I opted for the carbon tips.

The KW coilovers are amazing, and now the Mini is much more alive zipping around town and slower buses/trucks. I also had it on the 3rd softest setting and now at least the runcraps that are on the car are not as punishing on the back and on my jawbones! I lowered the car an inch or so to minimize wheel gap.

The BBS are 17 inchers and much lighter than stock and you can feel it in the steering, as the car feels more nimble now. I reused the runcraps on the BBS since the car is still brand new and so are the tires...

Those wheels look good! And Akrapovic makes nice exhausts, a friend of mine would like to buy one for his Abarth 500...^^

Looks really cool without the chrome!
Can you post pics of the other Martini Mini you saw on another forum? Thanks!

Love it! I'm very fond of the Martini theme.
