Thread: Fake M5 Engine Note!

This just pisses me off.

I was talking with a good friend who works for BMW and he mentioned all it takes is removing a simple fuse to disable the fake engine noise, which really amplifies how well the soundproofing is inside the cabin.

I saw that in the article. The fuse is in the trunk. What I didn't see is whether removing the fuse also affects the music output.

Right, so you remove the fuse and you're stuck with barely any engine noise? IMO, sound is one of the most enjoyable aspects of owning a fast car. BMW is headed in the wrong direction... I hope the new M5 sales numbers will reflect that.
