Bowler Plans Road-Going Version of its SUV

Off-road specialist Bowler is planning road-going versions of its Range Rover Sport-based ‘supercar SUV’. A new £150,000 fourth-generation model is the first step for the new chief engineer Steve Haywood. Steve led the team that developed the latest Range Rover, and he is the new managing director of Derbyshire-based Bowler.

This vehicle has been in the pipeline for 2 years, I spoke with Drew early last year about it. the preproduction vehicles are finished, one has already been on Top Gear.

*cleans screen* That's some great news. I hope there is an US-legal version, or I'll just buy the off-road one, disassemble parts of it, import it as car parts, reassemble it, and title it as a kit car. The former is easier, but the latter is more fun.

Seriously, Land Rover needs to buy Bowler and produce some bad-ass vehicles!
