Default Deciding Between A C63 AMG And M3 Coupe

I have test driven both within the last few days and was leaning more towards the C63 as I am a diehard AMG fan, but the m3 couple styling has been growing on me as well.

Is there anyone in the LA/San Gabriel Valley area that has either that can maybe take me for a ride? Its hard to grasp a good feel for the car when going to a short test drive in downtown traffic.

I'm not looking to drive the car myself, just sit shotgun and get a feel of how it is.

Why dont you go to the dealer and take one for a testdrive?

I feel like this would probably be the best idea. Unfortunately, not all dealers have M's or AMG's....either because it isn't an area where they will likely be bought or because they sold out.

Anyways, the C63 is more of a savage beast while the M3 is amazing on the track. It corners extremely well while the C63 slides around.

Yeah I test drove both of them already, but the sales reps don't usually like you pushing the cars very hard and I also don't know the limits of the car because I don't own one (yet) so it seems that sitting shotgun with someone whos comfortable with their car would be a good experience.

Doh! Didnt see that......Find a used one on a lot. Think you could prob get away with driving it hard. Tell them what you are comparing it too. They want the sale they will let you drive it. Riding shotgun is not really the same as driving.

    Ya I did that actually.

I test drove the amg, then the m3, then another amg the day after.

The m3 didn't feel that quick to me, but I couldn't get the revs high either because this was in LA traffic. The c63 I just kept gunning it from each light and it seemed much more fun to drive.

But I feel like the m3 has more tech in it and more options while the amg is just as is, and can't really be adjusted much. On my dads CLS, you have options for 3 different suspension settings, and height etc and thats not even an AMG model.

They are both great cars the C63 is just brute force and the M3 is finesse. You cant go wrong with either. It just depends on your driving style.

I just went through the same dilemma. Was it M3 or C63... M3 to me was a great handling, sounding and looking car but the C63 is actually INSANE. It may not have the same precise handling of the M3 but its got a bigger ROAR, more torque, and horsepower.

Message me and Ill come give you a ride in my 2011 C63 (every option)!
