Default Aston Martin Miami LOVE from LLV and Nue Vue

To be blatantly honest I was not sure why we even added the Aston Martin DB9 to the Lou La Vie Exotic Car Rental Fleet. It is not as fast as the Porsche Turbo, not as nimble as the Superleggera and not as bold as the Rolls Royce Phantom.

Then I took it out in Miami for the weekend.

The door opens slightly upward and you are greeted by yards of matte finished wood, extravagant leathers contrasted by silver stitching and a gauge cluster that looks like something developed by NASA. Turn the key and an eerie red glow emits from the Engine Start button located on the center console. Then, without hesitation, what is possibly the most intoxicating exhaust note ever roars from the classic V12.

It feels heavy, it’s not terribly fast, but that’s not the point.

The Aston Martin demands a certain respect from on-lookers. While Lamborghini’s can often incite envy and the Rolls Royce Phantom says “FU** YOU,” the Aston Martin attracts an amazing amount of positive attention. It is so noticeable that you actually feel like you are a diplomat or a celebrity.

It sounds cliché but I felt like I was Sean Connery.

Most importantly, (JK… Not really…) women LOVE this car. Gorgeous, arrogant, Miami-esque models, ACTUALLY stopped and stared.

Looks like the Aston Martin DB9 might stay around a little longer. It’s just cool. The sound, the statement, the conversation, it is exactly what a great automobile is about.

Thanks to Nue Vue for his amazing photography.

    Best Regards,

I have a soft spot for the Astons... they are as I like to call them... Sexy Pigs...

they are not fast... and they don't perform for their price... but they are without a doubt one of the sexiest cars on the road today. Not overly done... just... perfect to look at.

I gotta be honest John I never liked Astons other then the Vanquish but when I got the vantage on rims and EVERYONE seemed to like it much more then the Lambo / Ferrari I really fell in love. Lets be honest we all really get the cars for the amount of VAG it attracts and if one attracts more VAG then the other we drive the VAGATTRACTOR.

I don't believe the intention of this car is to out-perform others. Aston Martin could easily crank up the juice and the price. I believe they are interested in putting out the best GT's. The DB9 is one of the sexiest cars ever. No doubt. I'd hit it.
