    Default Monaco 2011: Keating ZKR

The Keating ZKR is the latest from the UK and Manchester-based manufacturer. The vehicle showcased at the Monaco event was an early prototype and by the looks of it far from finished.

The Keating ZKRs boasts engine power from 600bhp up to 2200bhp via a twin turbocharged and supercharged setup.

When I see this, I think the following things.

Did automotive design just go backwards 2 decades?

The HP numbers will never put out the performance you want it to.

It looks like a Lamborghini Countach and a Widebody Noble had a really shitty kit car baby.

From 600bhp to 2200 bhp? Yeah right, and that design would have been nice like 15 years ago!

They've been touting this car, or versions of it, around for 10 years or so in the UK, and its still crap. I can't believe they've actually sold any. Looks like a 1980's kit car to me.

Where have I seen those rear lights before? I can't quite place them but they look familiar.

Probably on any Honda Civic in the US shortly after the release of the first Fast and Furious movie...
