    Default 2011 Jaguar XKR175 Coupe Debut at Pebble Beach



    Jaguar celebrates its 75th anniversary with a limited edition 2011 Jaguar XKR175 Coupe. The vehicle made its official debut at the McCalls Motorworks Revival at the Monterey Jet Center during the Pebble Beach Automotive Weekend. This is the first appearance of the exclusive sports car in North America.

    The XKR175 is powered by a supercharged V8 with 510hp and 461 lb-ft of torque and top speeds raised to an electronically-limited 174mph.

    Go Jag!

    I really like the direction Tata is taking the R line (well all of Jag actually). The next step for R is 550+bhp, dual clutch transmission or manual.

    i'm sure this is a kinda dumb question but screw it. why do they electronically limit it to 174? i understand the fairly common 150ish range but once youre up at 174 it seems kinda silly. at that point they might as well let you go balls out
