Importing cars into the US that are less than 15 years old is a major pain in the you know where. Just ask the guys who recently had their Skylines seized in California.

Honestly, unless its a rare car with a high demand, it is not worth importing it into the united states. To get a better idea of what is required to import a car to the US, take a look at the several links on this page: Vehicle Importation and Certification Requirements
After that you will also have to look up the EPA regulations on that car and it will have to be modified to comply with US emissions laws. As well as having to comply with DOT safety regulations (all glass switched to dot compliant glass if not already applicable, headlamps and tail lamps as well as marker lights all changed to US DOT approved units, etc.) And to top it all off, all the work has to be done by a Registered Importer and all the correct paperwork filed for the work that would have to be done to the vehicles.
In the end, it is not a very profitable venture if you are lucky to even see any profits at all.

Exporting cheap cars only pays off in foreign european countries or Africa.
A couple of frinds are into this kinda stuff and I just spoke to one of them yesterday and he said because the dollar is quiet low and nobody is willing to pay 4 anything the effort of exporting to the US isnt worth it - at least not in such small numbers.
