Default Ariel Atom 3 Pricing Unveiled

One of the best road-legal track cars is the Ariel Atom. For die hard trackday junkies it holds the most fun! This ultimate track car is now available for $49,980. For that price you get a sheet metal body shell with four wheels with brakes, two seats and a steering wheel. Oh yes, it also includes a 219hp Honda K20 engine connected to a six-speed transmission.

The base model is equipped with PBR single-piston floating brakes, double unequal-length wishbone suspension, limited-slip differential, Bilstein non-adjustable shocks, a cast alloy quick-ratio rack and pinion steering system, and composite body panels.

saw this yesterday & was hoping there would be some discussion on this here.

I wanna know what the bare bones rolling chassis costs and what it takes to make one of these street legal in Texas.

I see these as an awesome alternative to guys who don't feel like riding a death with crotch rocket but can still be wickedly just as fun. I know this an open top, light as hell, pretty much race car but I wonder how well they'd actually hold up in a wreck?

The Ariel is a cool little car/thing. Didn't they sell for 70K a few years ago?

That's for a base model. A lot of guys opt for an upgraded brake package, the supercharged engine, adjustable dampers, a rollbar, a lighting kit, and so on. Pretty easy to quickly throw on $15K+ in options.

And still be the best darn money ever spent.

man, those look so fun, I want to drive one
"We were never satisfied being status quo. We were never OK just getting by. We pushed and drove at everything we have done in our lives to succeed in spite of those around us that would hold us back and naysay us. We finally realized that we needed to make our own rules to do things better. 99% of the people in this world do not understand us and what drives us.

^ I think its legal in Ontario, I was talking to an owner of one at a car show and he said he drove it on the street. Oh and it had plates as well.
