Forget all the BS and bad press thats been posted all over the net by snot nosed kids who have never driven yet owned or maintained any exotic car. How is this for life span?
1962 250 GTO, 1959 250 SWB, 1967 275 GTB etc, etc, etc. Any exotic will last as long as its looked after - period. Most of the bad wrap comes from lack of maintenance.

its going to last as long as you want, as long as you are willing to pay for it.

not an exotic by any means, but the curator of the henry ford museum drives an unrestored model t to work everyday. if you take care of the maintenance they will last longer than you. everyone understands that tires, belts, hoses, brakes, etc are wear items, and fail to realize that alternators, starters, radiators are also wear items. they just have a longer life expectancy than the previous.
