Unburned fuel hitting the atmosphere. Usually caused by someone running an aftermarket exhaust or some higher octane fuel or the car could be running rich.

Like he said unburnt fuel. The color comes from the electrons etc and is relative to the temp of the flame. Blue is hotter than red.

I've always had yellow/orange flames. I would like to see some blue.

i think that was a bit much for just unburnt fuel...i think its a flame thrower kit that you can install that sprays fuel into the exhaust system and ignites it with a sparker.
    they are illegal

agreed...usually flames from unburnt fuel are quick...not like that. thats almost like a jet fighter...no way thats unburnt fuel...thats definitely a flame kit. looks good...but i dont think its so good on the exhaust system.
