Default Galibier 16C Concept ----In the Flesh---

    All,

I wanted to share some photos with you of an event I was just at in Los Angeles on Thursday evening. Bugatti and Parmigiani where hosting the unveiling of the Galibier concept at the Ace Gallery. I had a chance to see it in person and sit in all four seats. It was an impressive automobile. They asked everyone not to take photos, so I hung to the end and asked nicely. They allowed me to take a few, but I could not get detailed shots of some of the killer features of the car.

Sorry the photos are not that great, but I can say that it is really nice in person. I am not a huge fan of the rear as I am sure some would agree.

The Bugatti folks spent time with many of the guests and asked for our feedback. Besides discussing the Galibier, I breached the subject of a likely "more economical" sports car in line below the Veyron. His response was such that I am guessing they have been working on this for a while. Fingers crossed!

Outside of the event was the black car which I threw in at the bottom.

Wow, very impressive. The headlights of the Galibier are something else!

Yeah, they were illuminated which was pretty trick. I am not sure if it was gimmicky or something they would put on the real car. The headlights were on the whole time so it may be something that is lit up at night. I did not think to ask them. The actual headlight and taillight assemblies were awesome. The actual lights were surrounded by fiberglass that was etched. It looked like a scene out of Tron when they were racing around with the lit up blockades behind them.
