The style is "OEM+", and coming from the VAG scene I honestly see nothing wrong with it (unless they're stealing the wheels.)
If the owners of a Bentley swap out their wheels for something else then why shouldn't someone else be able to buy them and use them on their car? It's not like they're saying they drive one, they still leave the badges on the car (sometimes) and even if they don't, you'd be hard pressed to find someone at a show claiming that their car is a Bentley, Porsche, Lamborghini or otherwise simply because they have the wheels on their car. Like it was said before, it's a way to personalize a car for yourself. Not everyone has the money to go out and buy a supercar when they please, and even if they do maybe they like making something their own.
But it is a matter of opinion, and I'm pretty sure the owners of these cars are happy with what they've done, and I don't think making some people online angry is going to change this trend (trust me, it's big in the scene).

Personally, I think OEM Bentley wheels should be on.... Bentleys .. and that's it .. I can see upgrading OEM wheels within your cars manufacturer ... But not from a completely different different manufacturer.. Especially on a Vw? That's like putting Ferrari wheels on a Honda...
For the price someone would pay for OEM Bentley wheels, you can get a nice set of aftermarket wheels that would most likely look a lot better/aggressive

Why would anyone want these wheels on their car. They are horrendous even on a Bentley.

Lol... 99% of the Bentley wheels are replicas, so don't worry about them spending that much money on them. Second of all, there is nothing wrong with rocking different brand wheels on VAG cars. As said before it is part of the VAG community and it's not like you see them everywhere. You only see so many of them at a gathering like Waterfest/H20 or any other equivalent show.
Hell I think this is better than say, VOLK wheels on every Nissan 350 and 370z. Also better than when Dubbers were so many were rocking the hell out of BBS CH wheels about 6 yrs back..
And to the MK3 owner with the SL wheels..that ride is clean,Last edited by BlackKnighTT; 06-05-2012 at 05:35 PM.

I think those Bentley wheels only fit (optic) well on a car equiped with air suspension...

My buddy just picked up a set of BMW E90 335 wheels for his MK5 Jetta. Got them redrilled last weekend, just needs to get a set of spacers and tires. He's going to be the only MK5 Jetta in the world with that setup. I'll update this thread once he has them on. There's an MK4 with this setup but no MK5s.

I think it's cool and just another way of modding cars. And like someone else on here already said, the owners of the cars aren't running around acting like they own a Bentley. Also in my opinion most aftermarket wheels make a car look cheap, OEM+ is much better.
And like anything else in life, hating it is just a waste of time and energy.
Go to a car show or anywhere else in the world and ask anybody if they care about what you don't like.
