Looking @ importing a Gallardo from UK to AUS
Hey Guys,
I'm new to the forums and got reffered by a mate. I'm currently looking at potentially selling my latest project; a custom widebody evo ixand importing a Gallardo (2004 model) from the UK over to Australia. The Australia delivered models are fetching for around $200k+ (AUD) whilst an import will cost me around $140k (AUD) with similar km's and year.
My question was what are some common problems with Gallardo's based on a typical 2004 model with around 20,000kms (12,500 miles)? And the cost to repair such issues.
Any help is much appreciated.
(P.S. I'm sorry if a question like this has been posted up before, I couldn't find anything with the search function)

Clutches were the main issue, a "versioning" was introduced at the time. From memory, from revision E and higher you were fine.
The main difference to the 2006 and up (starting from the SE model, and all convertibles) is the shorter gearbox.
Have a good specialist do a complete checkup, including clutch wear, and you'll be fine.

Yes I agree Clutch and I believe issues with the transfer case or oil pan or something breaking. If you can afford it I would so go 2006 or later
