Same reason people abandon cars in Dubai.

There's a E46 M3 parked under an oak tree up my street that's been there for over 3 years. I've been tempted to go to the house it's in front of and ask if they want to sell it for some really cheap price.

EDIT: just watched the video over....it sucks people feel the need to write on it and steal shit off of it.
looks like someone already stole the hood emblem

    StorageWars time...

But yeah, I'm assuming the owner still lives in that building, or it would have been towed? What a time to have a tow company.

It is just a shame to see such a car lying idle... but as per a previous post the tires are still holding the air well... that is the first to sag or electronic failures...

We get Mercedes and BMW's at the Dealer all the time that Owners Forget that Own Till we call them and they come get them, Cars will sit out back for Months on end with No Calls or Interest on them
Life is hard, It Chews you up, Spits you out. It Even Sh!ts on you for Good measure. But Fu*k that, You deal with it... The Isolation. The Doubts, The Voices in your head, Getting up every morning in the dark... So why do you do it? Fame? Glory? Getting some ass? Thats just the icing... You do it because you got something to prove to yourself.... Its about Enlightenment, its about looking Destiny square in the eyes, grabbing hold of it, and Never letting go
