Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes AMG are celebrating the awarding of the 65th Palme d'Or (Golden Palm) at the Cannes Film Festival by providing a fleet of gold-wrapped models for shuttling celebrities and movie stars alike around the famous French city. Mercedes will be active all week long during the event, with test drives open to the public of their latest models along the French Riviera.

They have one of these around the corner from my apartment at a global training center in Vaihingen, Germany. Hideous.
