Default 2010-12 Jaguar XJ Reliability, Anyone have experience?

My friend is looking to buy a 2010 or 2011 Jaguar XJL supercharged.

Any personal experiences with this car?

I know older jags were not the best, but heard good things about this one.

    Comments appreciated!

My parents have a 2011 Jaguar XJ L supercharged the car is flat out AMAZING for how big it is. Interior is amazing quality. They're not cheap, and I can't really speak to the longevity, but she's had no issues in about 20k miles. She's a soccer mom, so drives it every day, but still no issues.

If you get one, make sure to make her purdy:

Apparently in the last 10 years Jaguar has resolved the bulk of their reliability issues. They are no longer the potential nightmares that LR/RRs are.

My understanding is the mechanical side of things are perfectly fine. The only trouble you might have, if anything, would be electrical / electronic. I vaguely remember there was something with the gear selector dial when the new XF was released, but other than that they seem pretty solid. The only reason you wouldn't want one would be because the Audi, Mercedes, and BMW cars are typically a few steps ahead of the Jag.
