So if anyone is paying any attention to this, they still have it and are still "working" on it, I have contacted their commercial sales dept. on the recommendation of xda folk, and also shot them an email explaining my issues, I haven't heard back from the facebook group, but I guess now all I can do is wait.

Still no tablet back, and I was supposed to receive calls from two different departments last friday. Needless to say they have proven themselves inept once again, and I haven't heard a peep from them. I guess I'll call again tomorrow. My rma process has now been "escalated" 5 times.

This is beyond ridiculous. I would be demanding a refund at this point. I really wanted to like this tablet but after hearing this lack of customer service I am glad I have an iPad.

Apparently they can't issue a refund because the service center is run by some 3rd party group of jokers. I've been assured that I will have it by may 1st. So that would be 51 days without it, the warranty is only 90 days, so basically I won't have any warranty left if anything else goes wrong. I'm supposed to get another phone call today updating me on the status. They have so far missed 3 call backs and 4 deadlines, I would be shocked if I received a call.

I know how you feel, once I ordered a $150 model car only to have it broken upon receiving it and having the seller never reply to any of my calls and emails. I hope you get this issue resolved ASAP

Quick update, Got the tablet back again, and it still isn't fixed, they said I would have to send it back to a different repair facility and then they would deal with it, with no time guarantee. I called Amex and they filed a claim for me, I should know within a week or so whether or not they will handle it. I'm hoping for a refund so that I don't ever have to deal with Asus again. I guess iPad maybe...but iOS doesn't really play nice with my primarily linux computers...might just see if I can find a cheap ultraportable.
