I like Apple because I need things to work and don't have time to tweak my phone, I use my phone mainly for text and voice, but occasionally I find the maps, games, internet, and other programs helpful, but its most important to have battery life. On the other side, my friend is a complete tech nerd and has the Droid Razr and loves it because he can run his servers, surveillance cameras, and other applications better on the Droid. I have had a Blackberry, Droid, and Apple, and currently prefer Apple the best. Like most members have said, there are various phones that each have pros and cons and not every phone can do everything and anything perfectly, but if that was possible that would be cool.

iphone and android are both good phones and they are differ in terms of their specification, for me, I would choose where I can be comfortable with. And I'm comfortable with my iphone.

You pick that one of course. Or Nokia Lumia 900, if you'd live in the US, but you're from Iceland so I assume it's the 800 you have there.
Alright, market for apps might not be as huge as for other platforms (yet), but personally there is nothing essential that I would miss. Nice photo quality, elegant tiles, perfect social media integration... try it.

I have a HTC Inspire 4G and I hate it. It works for the first 2-3 weeks then it starts crashing a lot and is really slow. I just got my third one (I have insurance on my phone and they keep replacing the it). I want my iPhone back but have to wait for my upgrade in May.

Its always going to come down to preference I prefer Android OS at the moment with the galaxy nexus. I haven't tried an actual windows phone with its new OS i'm always willing to give them a try as I did ios and 4 and 4s.

The phones generally win in some categories and lose in others, and since it mainly an issue of personal preference I think people need to just stop concluding that one is the dominant phone, maybe a few years ago that was true, but it just isn't anymore. That being said, I'd still rock a droid before I'd sully my hands by fondling iOS for an extended period of time. I have had both in the past.
