getting a new phone for the first time since 2007. Looking at the S3 as I am going with Verizon but may consider just picking up an iPhone 4 since it's free with new contract
. I do not care about apps as I do not use them. Just call, text and email. I like pretty screens though

@Sir Robbins: Just go for the 4S then. At least u'll have something not too dated yet more capable than what you need to use it for.

I have an iPhone 5 and a Galaxy S3 with Verizon. Been switching between the two (using a sim card adapter) for the past two weeks +. IMO, the iPhone 5 is better for the "phone" functions and camera, and the Galaxy S3 is the better multimedia device. Between the two, I'm using the S3 more, simply because I do a lot of web browsing and email on my phone, and the larger screen size is helpful.
I'm returning them both for the Galaxy Note 2 when it is announced, on 10-24. To the OP, you should look at the Note 2 or Lumia 920 (upcoming windows phone) if you want something "different." Other than those, you might just have to wait a few years until hologram phones come out.

He's saying that you're going to start fiending apps. Didn't notice them when you didn't have them, can't live without them now that you do.
I gotta admit there are some pretty cool apps like house controls (lights, garage doors, curtains, etc.), remote desktop, credit card readers, mobile office, games, etc.You see my Louis chucks, Louis bag, Louis frames, Louis belt
What that make me?
