    Default New Android Phone

I have a Droid RAZR and am considering moving away from it to another Android device. I started on the OG Droid so the Droid 4 is on my list alongside the RAZR Maxx HD and Galaxy S3. Should I hold tight or move to another device?

Related: I wouldn't mind using Jelly Bean, either through OTA update or via root access and ROM update. I loved modifying my OG Droid but haven't touched my RAZR.

I can't speak for the other devices you listed but I have the GSIII and it's a great phone. Battery life is awesome but of course it depends on what you use your phone for so it will be different for everyone. It does have a tiny bit of lag when going from a program where the keyboard is popped up and when I hit the home button it take a half a second for the keyboard to disappear but other than that it is a great phone. I like the large display which is mainly why I got it and I also tried rooting it with the Jellybomb rom but couldn't get a few apps to work so I decided to go back to stock. Waiting on the JB update to finally release.

This thread is now about which device I should get. Has to be Android.

I'm eyeing the Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy S3, both which run Jelly Bean 4.1; the S3 has a light overlay while the Nexus is pretty much a straight Android OS. I did play with the iPhone 4S but I just don't think the Apple system is what I want.

I have a nexus with verizon, took forever to get 4.1 update which sucked I would have gotten the s3 but they told me I'd lose my unlimited plan since I'd have to wait. either way I'm pretty happy with my nexus so its not a big deal.

I got the Droid Razr Maxx HD and so far I LOVE IT. The difference from my old Droid X to this one is night and day. If you like Droids I think you'd like this one. Now if only Otterbox would release their cases for it.. They have cases ready for the fruit phone release >

I have the one x which is the droid incredible lte on Verizon but the Verizon version has a smaller screen then mine. I love the phone, both hardware and the HTC sense are great. I did just dig up my dads old nexus s yesterday and it had an ota update to jellybean. That made me want to sell my phone and get the new Nexus 4 coming out next week. Only downside is it doesn't have lte.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Not sure if you bought a new phone yet, but the Note 2 is king at the moment, if you can handle the screen size. Now just waiting on Verizon to release it... Grrrrr...
