Thread: Does anyone know of a good solar charger for the iPhone?

I will be out in the desert for a while in the next coming months and it would be nice to have a solar charger that can keep my phone charged. I haven't found a decent on online. Most of them require a prior charge, which pretty much defeats the purpose of the solar panel...

I bought one of these for camping trips and outdoor activities. If you have an Apple Ipod/Iphone you can just buy the adapter they have for it. Or if you have one that uses micro USB you have to buy a cigarette adapter. They also have smaller version of this, but I like having more power and the ability to power a laptop and charge a cellphone.

Awesome, thanks for the link. I found one in there that is smaller with speakers built in. I might go for that one. I'll just have my phone, no laptop.

i got a lithium battery pack with a 2 solar panels. it broke before even using it. beware of cheap ones.
