Any Home Theater Experts? How would I connect these speakers to my TV? There are RCA inputs for the speakers. Should I buy an RCA to mini Jack Adapter then plug it in the headphones? Do i need an amplifier?

looks like one of the speaker is amplified. you can connect the rca output from the tv into the input of that amplified speaker. then the other speaker connect to the amplified speaker.

most tv has optical or coax output. you will need to a receiver then.

if you plan to use the speaker for tv programming, most cable box has RCA sound output. similarly, some dvd/blueray players have RCA sound output. you may tap into these directly if you don't want to get a receiver.

receiver may end up costing more than the speaker. you can get a whole surround system with blueray, amp, speakers for about $300.

    thanks for the help man!

My only output is the headset mini jack. Do you think I would lose sound quality using this?

probably not. i have only used that connection as input for ipod in the past and it sounds great. the same connection is used but in reverse so it should be fine.
