    Default Home Autiomation

Building a new house and have been looking at a few dif options.. Control 4 and Creston seem to be the most popular as well as Elan G... Anyone here have experience with any? Nothing over the top to start, just a few zones of music, lights and HVAC.

Thanks in advance for the insight.

I had Elan installed in my last home and liked it. Currently have Crestron in my new home. Not a big difference in the two, but I did prefer my Elan. Most likely due to it was what I had first.

I have Crestron at home. Their stuff it top notch. They recently made an application that can be used on the ipad to control all of the things in your house, which is pretty cool.

I have a very advanced/intricate system. I looked at Crestron and Control4. Never checked out Elan. C4 won by a LANDSLIDE for me.

My company installs Crestron, Savant, RTI, and Elan G. If you would like to know the benefits of the different systems and costs I would be more than happy to help you out just PM me. We install all over the country and have done it all.

I've got a Control 4 system and have been really happy with it. Seems like it would be more than adequate for what you stated you wanted to do.
