I have been through too many brands of wifi devices to count...always to be disappointed. I am looking for something that will have no problem covering a 6000 Sq Ft home as well as the outdoor areas around the home. Something that is reliable and easy to maintain. I don't need a system that will handle tons of simultaneous users...I don't think I would ever have more than 30 concurrent devices involved at any given time. Any recommendations of which Rukus device(s) I should be looking at?

    Thanks
Deff a managed ruckus system. The great thing is that even if there is just one user in the house and you have 4 indoor waps and one outdoor the system will recognize the one user and pull all the power to that one spot. And unlike most systems when you move around the house you wont be dropping one wap and going to the next the managed network will do all that for you. I would go with the ZD1106 zone director and for the indoor waps ZF7363 and last the outdoor wap the ZF7762 OD . The indoors I would use 4 and you should only need one outdoor those suckers are powerful. Its by far our go to networking for any home that wants the best signals.

Since this has to do with wireless routers, does anyone know of a reliable wifi extender? A way point that will expand my wireless range. I have 2 different wireless routers for my upstairs and downstairs, but I don't have a strong signal outside by the pool area or patio. I really don't want to add another wireless router and have another internet bill and a range extender should do the job. There are so many different options I don't know which one is best!
