I have 2 large screens, a samsung plasma 3d and a panasonic plasma. They are both great tvs, and i would never consider an ordinary lcd over either. But it could be different for you. Just make sure you take into account the lighting of a room. And also what you'll use it for before making your pick.

Samsung- all the way. Looks and Picture are the best right now.| Some say_ that he's working on his 3rd million since the first 2 didn't work out.

Samsug, they havent let me down in the 3 different LCDs ive purchased. The picture just seems to look the best imo.

I own this set and it is considered by many enthusiasts to be the second best plasma on Earth behind Panasonic's top o the line model costing over twice as much for 2011.
I bought mine in January and I'm still amazed...
