FLAC is more than enough, in most circumstances. If you have a analogue reciever and amplifier, you might benefit from vinyls, but i presume you have some newer, digital system ? .. Vinyl is just too much hassle, in my opinon.

My weekends don't get any better than a stack of vinyl and this.

Had a very very very expensive CD player that never sonically competed with vinyl.....however I treat vinyl as a totally different experience than CD's or Downloads. Vinyl is like going to the movies, you plan it, sit down and enjoy the music and the great sleeve notes. CD downloads are far more convenient for 'living'.

I will always have vinyl, however I keep hearing the future is high quality downloads and not CD's.

My Klipsch s4's died after a year an a half of good rough service. Probably going to just buy another pair since they were great, but I do love change, any suggestions about others in the same price range? (I was looking at the soul sl99's but I'm afraid it would be another beats fiasco).
