    Cool L4P East Coast Meet/Cruise/CheeseSteakRun & more: Oct. 29th King of Prussia, Pennsylvania

    East Coast Represent!

    Call it what you will...
    Cruise-In/Meet/Shopping@KOP/AlgarFerrariMaseratiAlfaRomeo/CheeseSteakRun...

    THE DETAILS:::

    Im a local enthusiast here in West Chester, PA studying at the University and have been looking to meet the L4P members that rep the East Coast. I know my share of exotic owners, but none from here! Thankfully, given my relocation, I am settled and am starting to meet some locals (definitely gotta say the rides are sweet). Ideally Id like to host an event exclusively for the East Coast members, within a hundred mile or so radius from West Chester, and am going to try coordinate this all before the end of this years driving season. Ive been in the process of organizing this event, to meet at a location that is relatively equal distance from New York, Philly, Jersey and Delaware, respectively. Therefore, The King Of Prussia Mall (KOP) in Pennsylvania seems a perfect fit, as it lies at the center of these key cities.

    As far as the event itself, we will meet at Maggiano's Little Italy, an elegant Italian restaurant next to the mall itself, away from heavy traffic and still in plain sight to keep our cars safe. In addition to the mall, literally within miles and a short drive away in Villanova is Algar: Ferrari Maserati and Alfa Romeo. I will contact both facilities to see if they would be willing to do anything special to accomidate us, mainly to rope off spaces for parking, and to finalize their schedule of events for the day of Saturday, October the 29th, Twenty-eleven. Tonk' aka. Chris Walsh, an excellent photographer and fellow L4P member, has organized The Philadelphia Cheese Steak Runs recently and Im sure some of you are firmiliar with them. I will talk to Chris but I am sure he would be up for helping plan one to accompany this meet, with a stop on the way to Algar. At the very least I know there will be a Cheese Steak Run of some sort.

    I have planned the Amish Country Runs in Lancaster, PA and I can say, given the obvious similarities, this Meet/Run should be equally, if not more successful. As far a cars, I will extend an invite to the Cars & Coffee groups from West Chester, PA/ Great Falls, Va/ Tyson's Corner, MD/ and Camp Hill, PA to make the trip out, weather permitting of course, so everyone from L4P will get the chance to see some new and unique Exotics... (trust me they know what they are doing, Great Falls had two Aventadors at their last C&C, an Enzo the week before, and a Carrera GT the week prior, to say the least.) But I digress. Ultimately my goal with organizing this meet is to meet the L4P community, as well as to combine the two groups in the process, making what should be one epic meet of Luxury and Sport Exotics from across the greater East Coast.

    THE BASICS::
    Date--------------Saturday, October 29th, 2O11
    Time------------Meet at King of Prussia between 11:OO and 12:3O (depending upon whether you plan to shop or not and to allow groups to drive up from Cars & Coffee Events that morning ex: West Chester's Cars and Coffee Meet goes until 10, allowing that group to leave right after and still have ample time to arrive before 12:3O at the KOP Mall)-----Leave for Algar Ferarri Maserati Alfa Romeo by 12:3O----Depart for Cheese Steak Run @ 1:3O----Arrive for Philly Cheese Steaks and ENJOY! *please know anyone is welcome to join with up at any point in the day, just let me know and I will be sure to keep in touch and make sure eveyone gets where they need be.
    Cost-----------NOTHING... this is all for fun, so obviously youll just need money for food and for whatever may catch your eye at the Algar dealership.

    PERFECT! thank you... and seriously there are so many insane cars on the East Coast that we need to be having more meets, especially for the L4P crowd.

    great!! feel free to add yourself to the list with your name and whatever car youll be bringing out.

    Additionally, I just today had time to stop over at Oakes Detailing in West Chester and the shop is pretty awesome Ive gotta admit... hopefully Nick and some of his buddies (some of which are L4P members) will be able to make it out given their work schedules...

    As of today there is a Bugatti at the Algar dealership, so fingers crossed that it is still there when we cruise through, but I know it is just recently sold, so I dont know how quickly the car will be taken from the showroom.

    All the same, please spread the word, mainly to the North Jersey and New York crowd, this will be a really fun, laid back and overall delicious event!

    Thanks everyone,
    Evan
