Dream your Drive and Drive your Dream
Hey guys,
I am currently in the process of feeling out interest in the DC metro area for a new venture, that I have been thinking about for a while now. This forum is will definitely provide a great thermometer because it is the clientele that I would be targeting.
Down to the meat of it...Have you heard of Gotham Dream Cars in NYC or Miami? They have a fleet of exotics and super cars available for rent (for a week/weekend) or to go on their Gotham dream car tour. This tour involves 6 of their cars and the guests take turns driving each car and driving them fast. They have a spotter behind and one in front of the caravan. All of the cars are outfitted with radios to keep everyone posted on "road conditions".
How much interest would there be to have something like this in the DC metro area? I know there are luxury rentals here but we do not have any "tours" for individuals to drive multiple luxury/exotic cars in the same day. We have too many great roads around here to not try and take advantage of them. Obviously price would be an issue for some. I believe Gotham charges $850 for an afternoon, and there would be much more market research that would need to be done to solidify a price, but $850 can be used as a gauge.
This is not a thread for all of the complexities of this business or to say this is way to expensive to run. I know there are insurance and funding complexities, and this is something I am getting comfortable with. I would like to know if people would have an interest in the tours and competitive pricing for luxury/exotic rentals.
Thanks in advance for all your help! I do really value this forum's opinions!

I think it could work. Hell I'd take the tour.
