Thread: Nearest race track to NYC ??

Hey NYC folks, I live in LA so I don't know much about the area outside of Manhattan.

I'm trying to find what the closest race track (for things like high performance driving events and open track days) is to NYC. I've heard of Watkins Glen, but I just googled it and realized that it's 260 miles from NYC. I'm looking for something closer.

Thanks for the quick response! 110 miles. Is it a pretty easy drive on a weekend morning? Is that the closest track or just the best one in the area?

There's a track in Englishtown as well and track days at the New Jersey Motorsports park. There's Also Monticello in NY but it's a private track/club unless you go there for lessons. They have a performance driving school with CTS Vs I think.

not sure but NJMP is right around the corner for me!!!

Pocono Raceway, NJMP, Limerock are all close.
