Thread: removing lumbar support on CC????

hey guys, i have a VW CC and find that the lumbar support on both front seats is just awful. it like whatever the device is inside the seat doesnt go down (or in) the seat all the way so no matter the position its in. you can always feel this hard object in the middle of your back. after having the car for 2 years its really getting on my nerves.

i brought the car to the dealer and they said there was nothing wrong, and while there i sat in a couple of other CC's and found the same problem. (my wife has the same issue with the seats)

so im thinking of having someone get into the seat and take that lumbar support out or adding more padding.

i would appreciate it if anyone could relay any info if this can be done and where i can go to have it done.
